"The only restraints in life are the ones you put on yourself."

Well, here we are.

You, somehow on this web page, reading a pixelated reductivist bio on who I am. Me, probably obsessively crocheting in a corner watching a Ghibli movie while you read this.

I was born and raised in North Carolina, but I have called Florida my home for about 4 years now. I started my professional career as a yoga and meditation teacher in 2015, and worked in the industry facilitating workshops, trainings, and classes full time until 2021. I personally benefited greatly from the mindfulness techniques I was teaching, and have always wanted to help people do the same in overcoming their challenges and healing from trauma. I made the decision in 2021 that I wanted to take my service further, and entered the mental health world. I have worked full time as a therapist for those with mental health and substance use disorders since 2022. I fuse a direct, no frills approach to healing, with a range of mindfulness techniques I have picked up over the years.

I utilize a trauma informed approach to therapy, and utilize training I have completed in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and EMDR. I also integrate parts work as needed in sessions, and focus on YOU, and what YOU need or will benefit from in sessions.

As a Pisces Aries cusp, my style is fire and water. We will lean into resistance sessions rather than bulldozing it. I offer a nonjudgmental direct approach, but in a gentle way, where safety is reinforced throughout sessions.

I have a masters in social work and am a registered social work intern in the state of Florida. I specialize in trauma, dissociation, and schizo-spectrum disorders. I believe that there are no “wrong” experiences of the world, and that we can find deeper meaning and healing through our own perceptions and experiences.

When I am not working I am
